Lew Mr. Blue, also known as Lewy Bluestrips, was born in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in Modesto and Oakland California. The golden state native has always expressed himself through art by drawing, designing and writing poetry. Lewy was born into a musical family making his love for music undeniable. As time progressed he became more interested in creating his own songs. Lewy wrote poetry as a student in elementary along with always being a student of hip hop, music production and live performance. He began rapping as a freshman in high school during a rap battle at lunch. In 2017, Lewy Bluestrips began releasing music independently on soundcloud as Lew Mr. Blue. In January 2018, he distributed his first project, “Young Nigga Ina Whip” to all streaming platforms using Tunecore. During that year, Lewy also released his most popular song, “#Sweetladychallenge”. The song organically went viral on Tik Tok in January of 2021. Since then, he has generated millions of streams, built a versatile music catalog, an undeniable stage presence and a great network of relationships in the music industry.
