Rising RNB songstress, Monique Simone has independently just released her debut single 'Eastside'. 'Eastside was written by my brother who has been a major influence in my musical career. When I heard the song I just had to get on it, and when I invited Chunkyluv, who has been my producer from the very start of my career, to put his touch on it, it transformed into this musical explosion of emotions and magic.' Self-taught in several instruments such as the piano and guitar. Her clarinet skills won her entry into a prestigious performing arts school in Sydney. She began singing lessons at age 9 and by age 14 was performing in front of big crowds solo and alongside her brother, an accomplished Sydney Emcee. Over 8 years of Ballet and Hip-Hop dance training. Monique eventually made it onto X-factor after high school ended as part of a collective and has put in years of work to be who and where she is today.
