Fare Thee Well, Follower is a concept album confronting A.I. driven social media culture, censorship, and the dystopian corners our technological desires paint us into, plus a John Cale cover! Stranger released SUMMER ALONE featuring Crissie McCree and Melissa Mathes, along with Misshapen Identity and the Misshapen Id TWANAS Remix featuring Bee Taylor from the same LP in early 2023. Stranger founded and fronted Baltimore indie rock band The Payola Reserve, releasing two LPs (One Long Apology & 200 Years) before decamping to Los Angeles. After releasing singles (Los Angeles Lightning & The Past Is Doomed) and a film score (Forever Blue) under the name 'crooked letter i' in L.A., Stranger relocated again to Nashville and founded country rock outfit The Lonely Bastards with producer / songwriter / multi-instrumentalist Trace Faulkner (Paisley Fields, Mercy Bell), mysterious pedal steel legend Tony Paoletta (Cowboy Jack Clement, Elizabeth Cook) & drummer Adam Mormolstein.
