QuanDevito, a Nashville, TN native, is an American Hip Hop recording artist with a direct, laid-back flow. His aggressive tone, yet humble lyrics show case his life in a revealing manner that hooks many listeners. Devito grew up listening to ‘90s rap – artists like, Cash Money, 8Ball & MJG – but, became enamored with a metaphorical lyricism of rap when introduced to a different aspect of word-play. Devito, setting out on his own, released his debut single, “BuSabe”, as a free download in 2015. Even though “BuSabe” had minimal promotion, it gained a word-of-mouth following, attracting the attention of DJ Funky ATL and the Coalition Dj’s. Devito’s second single, “I’m Good” produced by Nasty Nyse, displays his effort to bring a new facet of hip hop into the music world. His following has only tripled since gaining exposure from Rolling Out Magazine, Freddy O, ABC, NBC, etc., when seen performing three of many of his archived tracks at SXSW this past March.
