NÎK is an American-Dominican singer/songwriter from Long Island, New York. He released his first studio album, @LN•EM (Late Nights Early Mornings), in May 2018. Combining clever wordplay with his melodic tone, NÎK used LN•EM to truly express himself for the first time and share his story with his listeners. Since NÎK first began professionally making music in 2015, he continues to progress as a singer and seeks to further incorporate his singing talent in his music. This is evident in his most recent album, @HBSD (Hour Before Sun Down). With this upcoming album, NÎK looks to make his own gumbo of music by displaying a plethora of symphonic riffs and taking a deep dive into R&B, jazz, funk, and pop. He hopes that this sonic shift in his music will open up the minds of his audience, spread love, and inspire them to be themselves.
