Recognized internationally as one of the most talented and requested guitarist of the present Melodic Rock and Aor scene, Mario Percudani merged his roots in blues and seventies rock music, with a style that ranges from Pop/Rock to Soul and American West Coast. Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter and Producer, Mario was born and grew up in a small country town in the province of Lodi (Italy) where he became interested in music at an early age, a passion that would lead him to his first live performances and to soon experiment his flair for songwriting. Guitarist for the legendary melodic rock band Hardline, founding member of Hungryheart and producer for bands like Smokey Fingers and Six Impossible Things, over the years Mario has built his own musical identity by teaming up with many international artists such as Mitch Malloy, Axe, Ted Poley, Jim Peterik, Bobby Kimball, Deen Castronovo, Vinnie Appice and many others. “New Day” is the first solo album of Mario Percudani, a bridge between the best American traditional Songwriters with a Blues/Country influence, crossed with the West Coast feeling and the European melodies, transformed through sweet and catchy timeless songs.
