Born and raised in Detroit’s inner-city, BLKBOK (born Charles Wilson III), grew up in a music-filled house and by 8, was an acclaimed piano prodigy, winning statewide accolades and collegiate-level competitions. His talents have led him to the biggest stages in the world with artists like John Mayer and Rihanna. Today, BLKBOK finds himself with the Black Book, his debut album, inspired by life stories transcribed through the emotion of the keys.
