Ambient Endeavors is the ambient instrumental project of Minneapolis-based guitarist and composer Andrew Schibilla. Inspired by the music and emotion of artists such as Hammock , Helios and Lowercase Noises, Schibilla released his first single Afar in March of 2018. More of a mile-marker than a starting point, Afar marked Andrew's first formal release following months of writing and demoing and years of dreaming. Since 2018, Andrew has logged consistent releases including numerous singles and EPs featuring guitar-laden drones and cinematic soundscapes. Recent releases include collaborations with We Dream of Eden, Elskavon, Matt Lowery, and Steven Sayles. Ambient Endeavors continues to serve as a catalyst for both consistent creative expression and catharsis as Schibilla aims to capture and communicate emotion through sonic texture and ambient wash. His songs have drawn attention from editorial curators and have been featured on numerous Spotify playlists including Ambient Post-Rock, Rise, Ambiente and others.
