The southern Hip Hop duo from Houston, Tx began their journey in 2016. Lyrical artist Jaykell and his melodic counterpart Boi Dru came together after sharing a liking of each others music. The two created N THE CLOUDS to fuse not only their rap styles but different genres as well, making music for the urban intellect. Their style has been spawned from various influences such as OutKast, Childish Gambino , UGK, Prince, and the Scarface. The Pair Blur the lines of traditional hiphop on their first self titled project " N THE CLOUDS: LOVE". The project displayed lyrical exercise as well as catchy pop like hooks over intricate melodies and 808 drums produced entirely by Decap. The pair plan on pushing the musical envelope in the future as well on their new project " The Blue Hour".
