As his name suggests, Dresden (Germany) based producer Scientific is on a mission to find the right formula of organic drums, densely layered instrumental arrangements and manipulated samples. Starting out making pure Hip Hop beats, he soon developed an interest in experimentation with a mixture of electronic and organic sounds. Often they emerge from a misty haze and then fade out again into the distance while the underlying harmonies set the tone. And so every track gives you the feeling of making first contact with a rare new element as the music wanders between moods.
