Diya emcompasses musical sounds of alternative R&B, funk and disco pop music. Heavily inspired by artists such as Micheal Jackson, Madonna, Solange Knowles, Donna Summer, and Erykah Badu. 
 The LA base native took interest in music at the age of 5. Raised on classical music she was taught piano from her father and encouraged to join the adult choir which helped develop her vocal skills. 
 Today, she strives to create music that will move people and furthermore inspire all who hears her melodic voice.
