Kikstar is a Nigerian Born Producer, Rapper & Singer, He started his music career officially while in the University of Lagos, studying architecture from 2008 - 2014 .His first singles were made alongside artists including @Jigsaw, TMXO & Koker..the first single that gained him recognition was also released while he was in Unilag. He released his first body if work in 2014, A 20 Track Mixtape titled "Element Of Surprise" While in the Mega City of Lagos..He could not forget his home in Ibadan, where he moved to after finally graduating in 2014..Moving back to his home & Hometown in 2015.He began his career as a producer & sound engineer when he opened his studio in his home in Old Bodija, He followed up with two Mixtapes ; "Me Against the world" & "Untitled Folder" in 2016 & 2017 respectively. He dropped his First Official LP in August Of 2019 "Ancient City New Vibes" Which is an introduction into the sound & vibe he stands for which a fusion of all genres with a bit of Afro, particularly showing to the country and the world as a whole that there is tremendous talent in Ibadan, a city which is falsely regarded to be " Local". He describes his music as therapy because his music is music is highly driven by his emotions and his experiences. He calls his music "Chillin' Music" referring to his general love for Mid tempo songs.. Kikstar went from being only a rapper to picking up production and singing along the line too due to his unending curiosity in Music.
