Eclectic moods, instrumental post-rock foundation with lots of electronics mixed in – this is what Deley started out with, back in 2012. Their sound has been constantly morphing and evolving over the years, adding grit, polish & floating, bubbly and sometimes ethereal psychedelic layers of synthesizers. Deley is a well known act on the vibrant Budapest psychedelic and post-rock scene, playing regularly at clubs and larger venues, augmented by live visuals which create an immersive psychedelic experience. In recent years, they’ve supported Public Service Broadcasting, Monkey3, Tides From Nebula, Sleepmakeswaves, Our Ceasing Voice. Their second LP, Sounds of Silence came out in 2016 and the band has been busy playing live shows at festivals and clubs in Hungary and Europe – Samsara, S.U.N., Uncloud in Holland and Cobra in Bucharest, among others. To capture the vibe and energy at live shows, the band released a live album in 2018, recorded at the legendary Budapest klub, Kuplung. It is aimed to be a snapshot of what Deley sounds like in 2018, following a couple of personnel changes behind the keyboards, lots of experimentation and tweaking. In addition to the released material The album contains two, yet unreleased tracks that were on the setlists for a couple years.
