I remember being 8 and listen to tapes on my walkman. I grew up with Queen, KISS, ABBA and Whitney Houston. It was through music that I was able to express my identity as a child of immigrants. My top 3 albums are 'Carrie and Lowell' by Sufjan Stevens, 'Honey' by Robyn and Patti Smith's first album 'Horses'. My own special pick: 'The Wanderer'. I wrote this song with a very special person. It was just magical. Also it used to be my favorite one to play at open mics in my early days as a performing artist.
