Inspired by the sounds of Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and Travis Scott. Rotterdam-based artist; GEEL and producer under the name Yellow, is continuously encouraged by his teammates - where they are all acquainted to the label called Hardheaderz- when it comes to working harder, working consistently, wanting to make a positive impact on listeners and at the same time counter-current what is now seen as hype in the music world. His music style is labelled as Conscious trap/ hiphop beats combined with impressive flows and deeper meanings that takes you into the journey of Geel’s endurance as he grew up in society. Geel considers his music to have the structure of an ever-growing building where he is the architect that constantly develops the levels of musical freedom and being true to oneself. He was part of the Rotterdam rap formation called WatWatIs, which he founded together with his long-time friend Ruwhel. Together with DJ Jonchi, they have been signed with the HipHop label; Hardheaderz since 2015.
