Ivan Hussey began his career with The Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra at age 17. This also saw the start of his session career that lasts until now. He has played on over 300 albums for artists such as: Mick Jagger, Jay Z, Soul II Soul, Incognito, Ultra Nate, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Take That, Maxi Priest, Annie Lennox and many many more. Ivan has also toured with: Duran Duran, Gabrielle, Snow Patrol, The Lighthouse Family, Natacha Atlas, Smoke City and Shaun Escoffrey amongst others. In 2001, Ivan started his own project entitled Celloman. Last year saw the release of the 7th Studio album: 'Arpezzato Cello', that explores a new cello playing style. Over this time, Ivan also released two albums under his own name, that are featured here and an EP under the name 'Hussey Marwood', a duet with Guitarist Steve Marwood.
