At only 18 years old, Norwegian artist Marius Samuelsen won Idol with two self-composed songs in the finals, being the first in the world to do so. He signed with a major label and released the double single, “Gravity/Out of Order” in 2018, before going independent. After praise from the people and critics, Samuelsen decided to take a step-back from the limelight to make music on his own premises. Meanwhile, he collaborated with a wide array of artists, from live performances with Alan Walker to co-writing with Thomas Dybdahl, as well as lending his vocals on Italian techno-dj Carlo Whale´s track “Dusk” from 2023. This January, Samuelsen, released his first single in 6 years, “Bear Street”, teaming up with star trumpetist Mathias Eick. His debut album is set for release in the fall of 2024.
