Bubba Janko proudly holds the title as ‘UK’s most ethereal geezer’. Growing up in Essex, Janko is an eccentric singer-songwriter, producer and solo artist. An air of 80’s sleaze surrounds him & his music. His signature hushed crooning contrasts distorted 808’s, moody synths & digital soundscapes. Janko has produced & collaborated with exciting artists such as BODUR, Ebi Soda & Shama Joseph. His production is a cocktail of global influences from Electronica, Alt R&B, 80’s / City Pop & Footwork. His frequent DJ sets delve further into these influences. Bubba Janko’s debut EP Shy Luv earned a place in Jamz Supernova’s EP Top 5 on BBC 1Xtra, aswell as Spotify editorial playlists Fresh Finds & Fresh Finds Indie. His 2nd EP Cheap Glamorous dropped in July 2023 and really established his artistry; also getting radio play on BBC Radio 6, BBC 1Xtra + 2 premieres on Wonderland and articles in Dazed, Crack Mag & Clash Mag.
