Schaltkreis Wassermann is alive and kicking but has a long history, going back to 1982. It is a veteran group of early 80s electronica with its cult album PSYCHOTRON. The duo that at that time consisted of Stella and PJ Wassermann fused wild psychedelic experiments with their exploration of analog synthesizers that at that time were completely new and futuristic. But they also included pop and dance elements. Sadly Stella died in 2011. After the vinyl re-release of PSYCHOTRON in 2012 by Private Records, Berlin, PJ Wassermann reactivated Schaltkreis Wassermann. Since then there were lots of compilations with Schaltkreis songs and remixes by Daniele Baldelli, I-Robots, Dynamicron and In Flagranti. 2017 saw the release of the album "Early 80s" that consists of singles, edits and unreleased tracks that are older than PSYCHOTRON. In 2018 Schaltkreis began to release completely new music with the "EP 2600noise".
