Masautso Nkhoma (born March 17, 1986) better known by his stage name Ruff Kid is a Zambian hip hop and Christian hip hop recording artist[4] and 2012 best international act winner at the Beffta Awards.[5] He debuted in 2000 with his single Wekatemwikwa. Ruff Kid is also the chief executive officer of his own label imprint, Kang'ono Records. He claims that the name Ruff Kid depicts his background.[6] Born in Lusaka and raised on the Cooperbelt Ruff Kid's career initially started in 2000.
