Andy Timko is an independent Ohio-based country singer/songwriter/producer. Andy's journey in music is not a typical one. A former college basketball player, he was never supposed to begin writing and performing country music-it just sort of happened that way. Andy did not sing a note until he was 23 years old- but once he did, he hit the ground running--headlining numerous shows and events across the midwest, as well as opening for various national acts such as Sundy Best, and Dustin Lynch. Andy moved to Nashville in 2017, and to Los Angeles in 2019. Andy’s songwriting and one of a kind voice has caught the attention of listeners throughout the country—earning his first single “Carolina” recognition in the January/February edition of American Songwriter Magazine in 2013; and his latest single “Rocketship” from the “Rocketship EP” to be awarded judge’s pick at the Nashville Rising Contest at the Tin Roof in Nashville, TN. Influenced by prolific modern-era country singer/songwriters such as Eric Church, Will Hoge, and Lee Brice—Andy has developed a style all his own. Believing in earning fans the old-fashioned way, Andy pours his heart and soul into every performance- providing audiences with an authentic and uniquely personal experience.
