Robert started in the music business in 1983, when suddenly he was captured by Lisa Coleman's performance on keyboard and synthesizers in the song 1999 by Prince. Since then he was attracted to every aspect in electronic music, following most of the time Lisa's technique and style. After joining various pop bands and working in several projects and recording studios he finally decided to work on his own. Listening to the music of Michael Hedges, Tim Story, William Ackerman, Mark Isham, and Liz Story he was able to grab new ways to express music in his own original style. In the year 2000 under an independent record label named UX Records, Robert created his first solo recording project titled "Country Lands". After Robert's successful debut he realized that he was meant to compose and record this type of music. At that point the record company asked him to produce a second CD, and in 2002 he recorded his second album, "From Solstice to Equinox". This album was created by mixing new styles and textures. For Robert, it was the beginning of a new chapter in music composition. By combining chants and voices to the simplicity of analog sounds and digital synthesis he was able to create new emotions and a variety of interesting pieces. Robert's music is influenced by 80's, 90's new age, ambient, ethnic beat, and soulful blues mixed in an elegant and functional way. His music is very emotional without falling into sadness.
