Everyone is born with purpose in them that allows them to completely be in line with the Creator. Growing up I have always been a lover of music. Seeing and hearing musicians and artists create great art with their gift. Before I surrendered my life to The Most High, the fellas and I would get together and just freestyle to see what we can come up with. I noticed back then that I had a gift or a unique way with words. I've always been a musician playing drums, but did not discover that this was a part of my purpose until the latter part of 2016. The Sabbath 16 concept came from me just wanting to be consistent and not sit on my gift and allow it to die. Psalms 34:3 says “oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.” There are many ways to exalt the Lord or magnify the Lord and this is one of those areas where we can do so. I've labeled it Sabbath16 because every Sabbath/Shabbat (or Saturday), my goal is to present 16 bars of spoken word or gospel rap if you want to call it that. I am not sure where The Most High wants to take this but I am open to his leading. I pray this page will be a blessing to you and brings you closer to our creator.
