Claude Dmitri “Demi Blk” Blinov Jr., or ‘Demi’ as most know him, was born at the Lewisville Medical Center and raised in Central Texas. 
 Demi grew up on rock and roll music. Everything from classics like Led Zeppelin to the more recent storm of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This influence led Demi to discover artists such as Post Malone and Lil Peep as he grew up, and fall in love with their modern depiction of rock and hip-hop music. 
 With a unique blend of electronic synths, banging 808’s, and rock and roll rythmes and progressions, Demi seeks to redefine rock music as a genre. 
 In late 2017, Demi found the app “rapchat,” and began releasing tracks to SouncCoud under the name “lil Mon$tr.” In early 2018 he found the artist that would soon become one of his idols, Lil Peep, and soon after wrote his first alternative track, “Red Roses,” which subsequently became his first track to receive any real traction, surmising almost 100K streams cumulatively under the name, “Mon$tr.” After CoVid-19 hit, 
 Demi decided it was time to take his craft to the next level, and deleted everything from social media and streaming platforms. Now, Demi Blk is working on his first studio album, and stacking up records to release leading up to this album! Working to fuse the gap between digital and acoustic music, Demi Blk’s music is the voice of the new wave.
