Tophe burst onto the scene in 2019 with his debut EP Clockface. The diverse project included hard-hitting features from upcoming grime stars Logan_olm and Micofcourse as well as a haunting vocal feature from singer-songwriter-spitter Dale May. This EP brought Tophe to the attention of prominent figures in grime such as Lordie, Spooky Bizzle, Logan Sama and Jamal Edwards (SBTV). Lordie reached out and gave Tophe the opportunity to release two follow-up singles on the GRIMEREPORTTV YouTube channel. The music videos - 9T5 and 1v1 Rust - catapulted him to new heights, receiving co-signs from Jme, Wiley, DJ EZ, Sir Spyro and more. Witty wordplay, slick flows and bars which have you realising the levels after the 3rd or 4th listen are Tophe's trademarks. He still writes, produces, mixes, masters and promotes all of his music himself as a one-man-army and arranges all of his own artwork, admin, music videos and collaborations all self-funded. As if that wasn't enough of an undertaking, Tophe is also an avid actor, appearing in various films and TV shows.
