DM was exposed to the discipline of music by his Aunt Victoria as she practiced for marching band in the living room. DM was exposed to the music industry through his step dad Santonio Echols, and saw the impact of techno during the 90s. 
 DM got involved with music personally at Courville Elementary school under the direction of his late music teacher Willard J. Hines. 
 Willard J. Hines directed the Courville Concert Choir, a conglomerate of elementary schools students and alumni of all ages from Courville Elementary. The choir often had a busy itinerary with gigs in the metro Detroit area and during the summer went on national tours. 
 Along with performing poetry for various classes DM completed 3 tours and was featured on the Courville Concert Choirs 2004 studio album. 
 In College (Spring Arbor University) DM met members of Team Most High and got his rap debut. Team Most High performed as often as Spring Arbor had a music event. Team Most High opened for Amena Brown, Navelle Hice, and headlined the School’s human trafficking awareness event. 
 Team Most High released a studio album, No Man Left Behind, in 2016 which was featured on Trackstarz. 
 While musical efforts from Team Most High is on pause, DM is still actively working on music.
