PowerZay is an indie rap artist hailing from Richmond Virginia. His captivating hooks and verses remind listeners of the early ages of hip hop with a new school flow. Shortly after dropping his first tape 'My Life Vol. 1', Zay was able to perform at Virginia Commonwealth University Homecoming Show where he opened for R&B star Ella Mai. That October PowerZay released his second tape, 'The Lost City' where he speaks on the change in creative collaboration, and the increase of violence in his city. He is now working on his third project 'Through the Storm', which was released on October, 4th.
