Supply Fi is the electronic music project of Chicago suburbanite Michael Southard. At a young age, Michael became interested in music production and recording engineering, creating countless albums of esoteric, cross-genre music. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music business from Southern Illinois University in 2007 and has continued honing his production and songwriting skills. The music of Supply Fi has been described as a blend of mechanical and organic; technical and sentimental. The 2018 EP “And We Become One with the Earth” is a great example of how these themes combine while keeping a strong focus on melody and groove. Michael also creates ambient, piano-centric music under the name Time Rival, is one half of the duo Amberglow and collaborates regularly with Running in Slow Motion and Belial Pelegrim.
