Homieween started as a Portland-based coping mechanism between spooky connoisseurs Jesse Hamlin (Shannon Entropy, Internet Beef, Ex-Barb, ILLYUCK, QT Anon) and Joanna Sendejo (Creaturess, Wet Velvet ) during the particularly stressful spooky season of 2022. The intersection between silliness, horror, and collaboration coalesced into a genre-bent sound with a visionary video component. Homieween's first release "So You Want to be Afraid Vol 1" was well received by its Portland community and Vol 2 shows Hamlin’s versatility across genres and space-time since his move to Chicago. Soon, every day will be Halloween.
