Based in Macon, GA, Shudi Nathaniel “Nate” Nelson started making music at the age of 14. He had an issued netbook that the school gave, began downloading mixtapes, listening to the songs & wondering how the production behind the music was made. He stumbled across a digital audio program called “FL Studio” & have been looking at YouTube videos to learn the science behind the program so he can get started to making beats. It wasn’t until 2011 when he released his first beat to the public & was blown away by his close friends & family. They encouraged him to make this into a career. He took time to perfect his craft & develop his sound by listening to old school music along with new school. In 2016, he started getting familiar with another digital audio program called “Pro Tools” & started doing some audio engineering. He tested out his skills on a local artist from Macon name Blacc Mel to form a mixtape called “Know Gut, Know Glory”, which the whole tape is also produced by NB as well. He also worked with another Macon artist name Pistol Pre in production & engineering for his tape called “Life Is UnPREdictable”.
