The magnitude and spiritual abundance that I have felt growing up in Hawaii is no doubtfully responsible for my musical endeavors. Gorgeous prismatic light piercing the sea giving viewers a breathtaking cinematic peak into tropical heaven is a dream most people spend their life’s savings to witness. However, it is the dark waves and the moon lit nights beyond paradise that haunt me. Generational curses that possessed me with the ambition to express the dark, mysterious and ominous side of what my culture has instilled upon me. Hula dancers artistically mimicking the ocean and the lava fighting as elders chant in an ancient tongue. The echos of their voices reverberating off the mountains, and the vibration of your ancestors answering through the shaking of your bones. I am Kaanuhea.
