Issa Rodriguez is a singer-songwriter under Mustard Music. She has developed her musical career throughout the years, improving her skills in the field through various songwriting camps and workshops. She has been releasing her originals independently until being signed under Mustard Music in 2018. She describes her music as very raw, as she genuinely writes and performs what she or others are feeling, adding even more flavor and emotion through the sounds of pop, soul, and jazz. After winning Best Christmas Recording at the 33rd Awit Awards for her song, A Christmas Song I Wrote for You, and being a finalist for Best Jazz Recording for 'Wag, at the 34th Awit Awards, she released two tracks this 2023: Take My Time, which talks about working on yourself before entering any relationship, and Borrowed, which aims to give back the credit to God for all that she has.
