cApitol A is a Cape Town born and bred Hip Hop Musician. cApitol A's music career started in 2013 but his love for music goes way back. Unlike most Heads cAp didn't grow up listening to Hip Hop, in fact, he grew up listening to everything besides Hip Hop music. It was only in his teens (14 years) that he got introduced to Hip Hop and Slim Shady was the only rapper that made him want to pick up the pen and start writing. At "age 16" cAp started playing around with FL Studio (3) and that's when his love for production started. Not satisfied with just being the guy behind the desk, he later decided to step up to the mic. In 2013 cApitol A co-produced and featured on a mixtape for the first time titled "KYD Underground Mixtape". In 2014 cAp co-produced another mixtape titled Ill Regime by Hype Team and also appeared on it as a featured artist. In 2015 cApitol A released his debut EP titled OutcAst which he mostly produced and was co-produced by his brother UNA. The OutcAst EP opened up major doors for the 24-year-old and was hailed by the Legendary Planet Earth as "The best tape out in the streets" after it's release. cApitol A went on to be featured on online publications (around the world) such as OkayAfrica (USA), FevaTv (Canada), SlikourOnLife (South Africa) just to name a few. In 2016 cApitol A released his much-anticipated sophomore offering titled "My Own Path" and featured his now SPORT compadre Calley, which cemented his position in the Cape Town hip hop scene.
