Tylek “ForeignT” Farley began his career in music as a teenager in the Bay Area, California, producing and writing songs. In the summer of 2013, he launched his own independent record label, Foreign Music. By the age of 18, Tylek was independently producing and selling mixtapes, building his reputation in the local music scene. Over the span of his early career, he released a series of mixtapes under the title: (The Day and The Life of ForeignT) Foreign T sold an impressive 25,000 mixtapes independently during his career in music. His follow-up, FME: In My Lifetime vol. 4 (2021), continued to expand his audience. Today, Tylek has evolved into an entrepreneur and businessman, managing several ventures such as ForeignT.com, Market Price, FMETV and FME TheBusiness.
