Bliniks is an ’avant garde’ electronica project from Kemi, Finland with some sci-fi aesthetics. 
 It started as a solo project and during 2013 when Olli Saarenpää focused on more straightforward dubstep and drum and bass. Later on the sound of Bliniks has evolved into a more organic rock drum and bass with some hints of melodic metal on it. 
 Now the project is slowly evolving to a band with the addition of Mika Miettunen and Jukka Enqvist, the sound of Bliniks will change and it will explore as many styles of music as possible. 
 Bliniks has also produced official remixes for bands such as Amaranthe and Sonata Arctica.
