Altin Devqa, known artistically as Devqa, is a prominent Kosovar rapper known for his distinctive style and impactful lyricism. Born on May 25, 2000, in Neubrandenburg, Germany, to Kosovar parents, he was raised in Ferizaj, where his early passion for hip-hop and rap music took root. From a young age, Devqa was writing lyrics, creating mixtapes, and recording singles, building his foundation in music well before his official debut. In 2020, Devqa attracted broader attention with his single “Reni Jem,” marking the start of his professional career. He quickly followed with a series of singles that solidified his reputation. Later that year, he released his debut album, “I Vogël O’ Rritë” (IVOR), showcasing his unique sound and storytelling, and expanding his audience across Kosovo and the Balkans. In late 2021, Devqa dropped the collaborative album “Njo Tjeter” with Pluto Beats, and in 2022, he teamed up with Yung Gekko on another album, diversifying his musical repertoire.
