Young Mon, a 19-year-old artist from South Miami, Florida, began his musical journey at the age of 15 in 2020. He started making music with his best friend, forming a duo that thrived for a time. However, a falling out led to the end of their partnership and friendship. Following this, Young Mon released his first EP, "Can't Move Back," and under his new name, dropped his single "Fall Back" in 2021-2022. Both tracks were inspired by a significant heartbreak he experienced at 14, a relationship that left a lasting impact on him for almost two years. In 2022, the couple reunited, which inspired his song "Valentines." However, they broke up again a few months later. This second heartbreak led to the release of his debut album, "LATRIX II." The album's title reflects a significant period in his life, revisited for the second time through his music. After the debut album, Young Mon connected with new artists, collaborating on numerous projects. Inspired by these experiences, he founded his own label, "Younginz Gaining More," aimed at helping other artists get their music onto various platforms, just as he had done.
