For nearly a decade now, Italian artist Antonio Marini has been on a sonic adventure aboard a craft known as Healing Force Project. Far above the planet, away from quotidian distractions like social media and publicity, he has calmly focussed on a spiritual and musical mission. Using ‘Music Is The Healing Force Of The Universe’ by Albert Ayler as an inspirational foundation, Marini believes that via study, experimentation, and the breaking down of traditional patterns, a spiritual remedy begins to radiate through sound. Continuously assimilating, deconstructing and reassembling jazz, dub, funk, ambient, experimental, IDM and even jungle, he takes these styles, studies them, then blows each wide apart.
