Empusa are a cult electro/ebm band based in South Africa and the United States. Empusa first came to life as a solo project early in the year 2006, the brainchild of Brandy Oliver. Richie Gray officially joined Empusa later in the year, after having collaborated with Brandy on several music concepts. Empusa have been on several compilation albums and have done some remixes and covers for other bands in the scene such as Suicide Commando and Total Pain Kollapz. They have done several collaboration songs with Miss FD and have been doing some collaborating with long-time friend AutoRobotica.
