Charlie has been performing at music venues and festivals for almost ten years. Directly supporting; TG Elias, Blue Rose Code, Martin Stephenson (The Daintees), Steve Ignorant (Crass), TV Smith (The Adverts), Terry and Gerry, Eugene Kelly (The Vaselines), Rosanne Reid and Emma Pollock (The Delgados), his sound compliments a range of artists. Adopting a DIY ethic, Charlie's early song-writing fuses raw aspects of early American rock and roll, New York proto-punk, folk and beat poet culture. His recent live and creative approach deviates from singer/guitarist mode to a more experimental sound - incorporating looped textures of rhythm/lead guitar and improvised percussion. Charlie’s debut EP - American Death Poems - was released via BandCamp in November 2017. His second EP - Moments of Transition was released on Spotify and iTunes on November 29th 2019. In 2022's Summers Like This, Charlie departed from his American punk folk influences and went on a drum machine sequencer post punk dystopian holiday.
