Launching into the Melbourne metalcore scene in mid 2019, Druid dropped their debut EP "Semblance" with a killer show headlined by BLKLST and have been tearing it up ever since. Sharing the stage with the likes of Alpha Wolf, Harroway, Wither, Earth Caller and The Motion Below In 2021, Druid released their debut album "The Beauty in the Decay". The first single 'Room 44' was immediately featured on TRIPLE J and TRIPLE M. The second single 'DTHBLW' caught the attention of Slipknot's KNOTFEST, and they performed at the PULSE OF THE MAGGOTS digital festival. Their other singles 'I, Exist (Voices), 'Noble Rot' and 'You're dead, just deal with it' were all played on TRIPLE J. In mid 2023 they dropped a single "HANG IN THERE (IT GETS WORSE)" which went straight into Spotify's "Homegrown and Heavy" playlist. In September 2024 they unleashed Chokehold on the world, accompanied by a visually stunning music video, which was featured on Spotify playlists Homegrown + Heavy, All New Metal, and Fresh Finds Heavy. Druid bring a unique devastating show fronted by dual lead vocals. With influences stemming from post hardcore, metal and 90s nu metal, Druid blends that nu-metal sound we all know and love with heavy chugging breakdowns and modern metalcore.
