Sidewalk Tha Villain is a Rap/Hip Hop artist from Lafayette, Louisiana. Releasing music since 2005, Sidewalk has always prided himself on being a skilled lyricist, despite his shift between commerically-aimed music and conscious content, his lyrical approach to creating music is ever present. Sidewalk has been using the internet as his primary means of growing his fanbase since the late 2000's, with sites like RevebNation and even MySpace being responsible for a lot of fan growth and engagement, before the modern social media era. It also allowed him the opportunity to feature on lots of songs by other up-and-coming artists from across the country, due to his increasing visibility in the underground Hip Hop circuit. Sidewalk is the owner of Ghetto Graduates Records, an independent record label based out of Lafayette, LA; though the label is distributed by SoSouth, based out of Houston, TX. He is also the founding member of the Hip Hop collective Tha Foot Clan, and is a second generation member of Houston's legendary original Rap clique, the South Park Coalition, inducted by K-Rino, himself. To this day, Sidewalk continues to record and released music, with a plethora of mixtapes, albums and music videos to his credit.
