Jason Day, known as J Day, is a rapper/songwriter. Born and raised in Greensboro, he was surrounded by music all his life. His mother was a singer, and father a DJ. Day didn’t find his passion for writing and creating until his sophomore year of college at NC State University. He and his best friends (Ade Adesina, Traemani “3rd King” Hawkins, and Stevie “Master Steve” Thompson) created the entity Symplicity Productions, a hip hop collective centered on positive creation and expression. The group dropped their debut EP “It’s Symple” in September of 2017. Following this each member worked to create their solo material. J Day dropped his debut EP “All My Life” in August of 2018. On this project he showcased his smooth delivery and storytelling. Day and Symplicity are striving constantly to grow their brand and music, to change the world and make it a much sympler place.
