SLOWER POWER is the brand new project of LA native Dylan Nichols, FKA Dyllan. A veteran of the LA music scene, Nichols is an award winning songwriter and producer whose music has been featured on KCRW, Spotify’s Fresh Finds, EARMILK, and LADYGUNN. This project is the start of something new for Nichols. Struggling for years with the pressure to move fast, with crippling anxiety and with a chronic pain disorder, the pandemic was a moment for Nichols to slow down. It introduced a new way of thinking; the realization that the obsession with screens, distraction, and the need to put everything on display were at the root of her battle for mental and physical health. It was time to say goodbye to her old project, and after a year-long hiatus she began something new, something that redefined her as an artist and also as a person. SLOWER POWER is the antithesis of a distracted, grind-obsessed culture. It is the embodiment of feminine dynamism. It is a new mythology. She hopes you will share in this vision.
