Bjørn Vidar Solli – guitar & vocals – born in 1979. One of Norway’s foremost jazz guitarist for the last 19 years – 5 of which he spent in New York working with some of the world’s best musicians. He has won numerous awards (Switzerland, France, Monaco, Spain, Belgium, Norway) and has toured in places like China, Australia, India, Canada, Nepal, Vietnam, South-Africa, USA, Korea, Russia and most of Europe. Solli has 3 albums under his own name, 2 tribute albums to Ahmad Jamal, 5 albums with his organ trio SOLID!, two of which featuring Seamus Blake & John Ellis, and many albums as a sideman. Solo releases include: «Aglow» (2014) with Seamus Blake, Aaron Parks, Ingrid Jensen, Matt Clohesy & Bill Stewart, on CD & 2LP. «Reviviscence» (2016) features Tim Collins, Phil Donkin, Adam Pache and Jon Wikan playing standards. In the US he has performed at clubs like Dizzy’s, Smalls, Blues Alley, The Bitter End, 55 Bar and Fat Cat with musicians like Jon Gordon, Kevin Hays, Clarence Penn, Warren Wolf, Marcus Strickland, Will Vinson, Peter Bernstein, Gary Versace, Kendrick Scott, Matt Penman, Orlando Le Flemming, Lage Lund, Rodney Green, Matt Brewer, Ben Wendel, Linda Oh, Chris Bullock, Jonathan Blake, Obed Calvaire, Mark Ferber, Jochen Rueckert, Doug Weiss, Ferenc Nemeth, Alan Ferber, Jamire Williams, Jaleel Shaw, Adam Cruz etc. In Europe: Kurt Elling, Bendik Hofseth, Cameron Brown, David Friedman, Linley Marthe, Emanuele Cisi, Eric Reed, Bugge Wesseltoft, Ralph Peterson, etc.
