Influenced by artists such as Kendrick Lamar , Lil Baby and Trippie Redd, Jay Bando has been writing and recording music since high school, teaching himself the ropes with various digital audio workshops and mixing and mastering all his music. In November 2018 he brought us his first mixtape “Bando Baby” with Vol. 2 & 3 following shortly after in 2019. Jay Bando is a versatile artist, using sounds of Hip-Hop, R&B, and dancehall, with a production palette blending sounds of hip-hop, reggaetón, and electronic influences. He mixes in various flow patterns and auto-tuned vocal inflections. His music varies from song to song at times because he's the type of artist who goes with the waves of his life and the different day-to-day experiences. In January 2019 he was recognized as Boston’s artist of the month by The Turntable Teachers.
