He began his music career as a member of electronic wave band Clan of Xymox in the mid-1980s and was involved in their first two albums. From 1994 to 1999, Frank was the vocalist and guitarist for Dutch wave band Born For Bliss. After a hiatus, he returned to music in 2009 as a member of White Rose Transmission and produced their album "Spiders in the Mindweb." In 2009, he and Remco Helbers released an album under their Stargazing Project. Born For Bliss signed with German label Echozone in 2010 and continues to release new albums and EPs. In 2011, Frank and Dutch singer Yvette Winkler started their Vaselyne project and released three EPs and an album between 2012 and 2016. In 2018, Frank produced an album for the art project "Going to Cataluna" with Dutch artist Rob Keyzer. In 2021 Vaselyne signed with COP International and released three EPs and their full album "The Sea Says" in 2022. The same year, Frank started working on the Tearing The BlackBox project with Kelly Cook (ex-Moev). TTBB released their first EP on Echozone and a full album is set for 2023.
