 Phoenix artist/producer Pk tha Poet (Preston Keller) was born in the projects of Chicago on jazz and gangbangin, which broadened after relocating to Arizona at an earlier age. 
 Fairly new to the game, Pk tha Poet has been making his name more and more distinguished throughout the desert streets of Phoenix, AZ. Linking up with artists such as Jaywop and going to open mics for 156 consecutive weeks, allowed him to sharpen his craft of expression. Mixing his love for poetry, jazz and live instrumentation over hip hop beats, his sound places him between J. Cole and Tobe Nwigwe. 
 His song 16bars to My Nation, released in 2017, is what open the gate for him to be nationally accepted . However it isn’t until the beginning of 2019 where we started to see him release full bodies of work. Traveling through the states creating, performing, and releasing new music in a way like no other. It is exciting to see where this journey may lead to.
