Scribes is an artist living in LA by way of Seattle. He has become known for his unique Rap and R&B sound and for his ability to flawlessly mix both genres. Although he is from the northwest and has collaborated with some of the biggest names to come out of the northwest.. he made the bold decision to move to LA in 2012 and pursue the musical avenues he was truly passionate about. Unintentionally the move required him to start over. While initially being denied the ability to create during his first few years living in LA.. He spent hours working overtime and sleeping in his car in order to build a home studio in his North Hollywood apartment. He successfully completed the studio in 2016. He has since been creating content again and began releasing new songs in 2018. Always honest his recent content has been a true reflection of his lifestyle and the pains of navigating Hollywood. His story telling is clear and relatable and captures the essence of his environment.
