 Hypes honed his considerable musical skills in the youth clubs, park clashes and raves of the city, developing a sharp, skilful and distinctive style that instantly marks him out as truly unique and impressively individual. In an ever-changing and super competitive musical landscape defined by creative flair, wit and wordplay, Hypes stands apart as a musician fixed on achieving at a high level and future facing by definition. Ability is just the start. Doing the work beyond that is what marks out the those who not only start but finish the race. Hypes has the stamina to make the finishing line. 
Having worked for time in pushing local youth from the same streets as he began on to achieve their own musical aims (at 17, Hypes was a community worker taking the lead with teens of his own age) his input and enthusiam was recognised by a hard won Community Champion Award presented by the Lord Mayor of Manchester. 
Hypes is debatably the Citys longest standing music figure. Having featured in the ‘Lord Of The Mics’ series as well as cementing himself in Grime throughout platforms such as ‘Sidewinder’, ‘BBC 1Xtra’, ‘Rinse FM’ and ‘SBTV’ he is surely a promising talent in the North West region. 
Taking a break from music while getting his degree and becoming a dad wasn’t easy but it has only broadened his vision. ‘Livon music’ the label ‘Burstgang’ the brand..... RETURN OF THE SAVAGE!!
